COMPANY OVERVIEW
Kestrel Aviation was founded in 1985 by Mr Raymond Cronin. From small beginnings the organisation has grown to
become one of Australia's largest and most experienced aviation training colleges as well as a respected
helicopter operator in the fire suppression role.
Today, Kestrel Aviation's primary aim is to provide mission capable / cost effective helicopter firefighting assets
for its clients. Whilst we provide a range of aviation services to many corporate and government clients, fire suppression
is one of our core business focus.
We specialize in providing aircraft, pilots, engineering support, operational backup and contract management
Kestrel Aviation owns and operates an extensive fleet of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, from light single-engine types,
to medium twin-engine aircraft. We also work closely with other industry organisations and we have ready access to a wide range
of fixed and rotary wing aircraft for type endorsement and currency training.
